SGA is planning a 5K Run/Walk for Apr 3rd. (See Leslie striking his runner's pose in front of the MCC Studio - he says he's psyched up for this.) You can register now on campus or before the event at 6:00 a.m. The official start time is 7:00 a.m. The registration fee is $10 for individuals and $35 for families, and the first 50 registrants will receive a T-shirt. The route begins at the MCC Studio in Centennial Park and continues through Centennial. Community members are donating healthy baked goods to sell following the race. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, as well as a grand prize to the participant bringing in the most pledge dollars. The prizes are donated from many local businesses including Backstreet Design and Apparel, Sacred Ground Healing Arts Center, Holistic Massage Therapy, Garden Gate Specialties, Laura’s Beauty and Hair Supply, Ted & Allen’s, St. George Running Center, Merry Wives’ Café, Emerald City Smoothies, Classic Sports, and Omnipure.
