Psych 101 students made and ate sandwiches while blindfolded. Their instructor Charlotte Potter led them through the exercise to help them gain an understanding of what it's like to function unsighted.
Thanks for making a virtual stop by Mohave Community College's North Mohave Campus. We're located in Colorado City, about 300 miles away from the other campuses.
Since we're so far Northwest, we're fortunate to get visitors (and students) from the neighboring states of Utah and Nevada. We serve quite an expanded area, so we get to meet people from far and wide. Another difference our Northern location makes is snow that sticks - a great compliment to our MCC Shines (see above).
I'm originally from Salt Lake City (SLC), UT.
I graduated from SLC's only private college, Westminster College, with a BA in Communication. I transferred from Westminster's graduate program to Southern Utah Univerisity (SUU), where I continue to pursue my MA in Interpersonal Communication.
I'm dedicated to higher learning and appreciate the opportunity I have to encourage others to pursue secondary education. Please contact me if I can help you in anyway - ccawley@mohave.edu.
